However, no accident has ever really worked out this well even in the short term, so on the whole we're positive about Pie-IX's possibilities. What is Pie-IX, we hear you asking. That's a good question. You're thinking it probably involves some kind of baked goods and an odd number. In a way, you're absolutely on the money. You don't need us. You can tell the story of Pie-IX yourself. But actually, please don't, because then we'd be out of a summer project and we'd spend too much time eating cereal, panting in front of the AC, and gaining weight. Really. Don't do that to us. It isn't kind. <br><br> Pie-IX is, to cut straight to the point, an experimental narrative which combines both words and artwork to tell a story about micro-time travel. Operating on the principles of pie -- that fruit plus doughy goodness equals something much more than either on their own -- the project hopes that by means of multiple mediums, some new genre can be achieved. But mainly, we were just having a bad few days and decided to work on something together as a distraction. Then we named it after a metro station for reasons unbeknownst to even us, and the plot snowballed out of control from there. Now, Pie-IX is a living breathing story-to-be, and we hope you'll stick around to check it out. It promises to have pie, multiple nines, principles of time travel which acknowledge their lack of actual sense, a collection of aesthetically pleasing anti-heros, and a semi-episodic format for those of us with attention defecit disorder. <br><br> (NOTE: NO PEOPLE WITH ATTENTION DEFECIT DISORDER WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF PIE-IX OR ANY OF PIE-IX'S SUBSEQUENT OFFSHOOTS, SUCH AS THIS WEBSITE, EXCEPT FOR JAIDA, WHO FELL OUT OF HER CHAIR ONCE OUT OF EXCITEMENT. HER SITUATION IS, HOWEVER, IMPROVING.) </td></table> </center> </td> </table></td></tr> </td> <td><img src="bottom.gif" border="0"> </td> </tr> </table> </td></tr> </table> </center> </body> </html>
